Assalamualaikum, friends,..

It's been a while. First of all, I would like to thank everyone who had been so concern of me after the accident on 1st of October. I really appreciate all the attention, all the well wishes, and the smses... it had really make my day. Feels really good to know there are people who care for U out there, despite even only being knowing each other for less than a day. My apology for all my picnic-mate, for spoiling their otherwise fun-filled afternoon with this unfortunate accident, but sometime, shit does happen.

We, my GJ friends and I, had just had our picnic at Air Terjun Lentang, Pahang on that fateful October 1st. Driving back on a light shower afternoon, I car-pooled with Apai in his borrowed violet Kelisa. I didn't drive my own car because my thumb is swollen, so Bean was trusted to drive my car. We suppose to split to two group, one goes directly to Apai's place, while the other, lead by Bean, should goes to Gombak's LRT station to pickup Am's car before joining us at Apai's place.

Everything seems to go so well. Apai tried his Initial-D maneuver at the corners of Karak-KL highway. Being a fast and sometime 'crazy' driver myself, I just enjoyed his little stunt, while being quite impressed with his skill. Suddenly, while negotiating a right hand corner, the car just fell light flying, instead of cling-on to the tarmac and follow the corner, the car simply goes straight to the center divider. We both shocked, knowing exactly what is happening, but still keeps a cool head. The poor car, slammed to the divider, then rolled over, my side first, doing a turtle, before rolled back on all four and crashed the side divider. Then it stopped.

Checking out on Apai, his OK. Checking out on me,.. well, my left arm is bleeding. OK. No big deal :p Checking out on my stuff... hey, where is my hand phone?! I opened the door, get out and walked over to the road and picked up my phone, which is still intact :D and then I walk back to the car. By this time, a tow truck "apek" with his walkie-talkie is already there looking so concern. I smelled something fishy, the accident just happens not even 2 minutes ago, how on earth this "apek" could possibly been informed and be there on time so fast?! But I just keep my wonders to myself, because by this time, all my picnic-mate cars had stop around us, and I figured it's better to take care of my wound first. Both Apai and I was sent to Selayang Hospital by Zack, and the car was left to be taken care of by Bean, Buyong and Am. We promised to get together at Apai's place latter on to elaborate on what actually happens.

At the hospital, I was X-rayed, and examined. Alhamdulillah, only skin damaged with a few little window glass stuck in it. But it takes a while for the dresser to take it all out and clean the wound before stitch whatever possible. About 20 stitches in all, scattered around my left arm, just under my elbow. Apai only has few scratches and being treated as out-patient. Went to Apai's place, where everyone is waiting, both Apai and I gave our version of story, as well as listen to eye-witness (Bean) story. Bean has narrowly escaped being dragged into the accident as well because he is driving my car right behind Apai's. Thanks Bean for being a quick driver and managed to steer my car away from Apai's Kelisa when the accident took place. I don't mind a little skin wound, but to broke my wallet too is a little bit too much to ask for. >:)

So that's it, a recap on my accident. That's the bad. The good?! I was provided a seven (7) days MC, which I fully utilized to cover all the missed sleep I endure during my hectic working September :D I even joined my parent at my Sister's place for a few days, experiencing the family life again. I seldom went back to my hometown to be with my family because of the time and distance constraint, so a little get-together is always much appreciated.

** as of today, twelve days after the accident, my arm is getting better, all the stitches are gone, and the wound has all dried up. Maybe by Raya, all that left from this accident would be a fresh scar, and memories :D
