Tuesday, June 28, 2005 Flight AK904,1640hrs, AirAsia, KL -- Bali Assalamualaikum people.. Today is the day, the long-awaited Bali trip. I will be out of the office, and the country, for three days, with most of my colleagues. It is the first ever company trip in two-and-a-half years, so I will never missed it for anything. Hopefully the trip is a very fruitful ones, and there will be more trips to be planned later on. I have to admit, I love traveling and seeing new places. Although I might not travel that much nowadays compare to when I was still an undergraduate, but I always cherish the opportunity to travel, especially if it is being majorly sponsored :p. To be honest, I don't know what to expect from the trip, all I hope for is a slice of good experience. Maybe a little shopping, a little walk-around down the beaches and volcanoes... As for food, it is a big concern to me, a Muslim, since it is hard to find a Halal outlet on the island, so I might settle for a barbecued, seafood diet during my stay. I am not a picky eater, so that should be enough to pull me over the period of my stay. Too bad I totally forgot to borrow my bro-in-law's camera yesterday... I don't know what was I thinking, I was there, at his place, borrowing my sister's traveling bag, but I just totally forgot to ask for the camera... Yeah, I am clumsy, now I stucked with a travel plan with no camera to capture the moment... Maybe I should fork out some money to buy those disposable '36 exposure' camera from Kodak to compensate for my clumsiness this time around, or maybe I could just 'tumpang' my fellow colleagues' camera every once in a while. Both are not very attractive options, but options is definitely not a luxury to me right now. Being 'kopak' or being 'tak malu', the choice is mine, hahahah. The only regret I have about this trip is that my special friend could not tag along. Only spouses and their childrens are allowed to be included in the trip, so I am very sorry for her. Maybe next time, when the company's regulation is not as strict, I could bring her along. Or hopefully, when there is another trip, the 'thing' in between us is no more a mere special friend, but legally married partners :-). Three days without sms-es from her is a very rare occasion, I will miss her dearly. "Awak, sabo ekk, tiga hari kejap jer..." Ok guys, I am off to have my lunch, and then off to KLIA. Wish me well, a safe journey to-and-fro Bali, have a wonderful days ahead. Me, take off... nesloice walks through at 11:53 AM. |
