Thursday, March 31, 2005 'Aura Jiwang' All Around, Ahahahaha Assalamualaikum everyone, and a very good day... I bet U guys must have been very annoyed at the pace of me updating this blog of mine, not to mention the unprecedented "sorry, I am busy, couldn't update earlier, bla, bla... "apologies I offered every single time I post an entry here. To be honest, I myself feels very annoyed, so as not to prolong the pain and frustration that U my dear readers (and fans) could endear (if any) as a direct result of my unscheduled and undisciplined updates, I had made a promised to myself to offer an update, a new and original entry, every Wednesday evening, regardless of how busy or how blank I am at that particular time. (just excuse me for this particular entry, it is published one day late due to some technical difficulties on Blogspot, sigh) OK, a lot of interesting events happened last week but I shall only highlight one of it here, after taking into account the productive attention span of my readers, . As a proper gesture in knowing a girl which I wish to be my soul mate for the rest of my life, and afterlife, I had taken the courageous step of meeting the girl's parents. Yup, a very scary thing to do in fact especially if U had watch the Ben Stiller's movie: Meet The Parents. I keep visualizing the scene where Ben had been put through a police-like interrogation session, complete with the Lie-Detector firmly attached to his chest. And then being drilled with all the absurd but hilarious questions one after another for hours. But luckily in my case, the whole session has been very mild, no lie-detector, no absurd questions, and almost no pressure whatsoever on me to present my very best behavior. Her parents are actually very nice and outgoing people, who really make me felt at ease being around them, although there are occasional silences in between our conversation, which I think is quite normal given the circumstances. And it is good to have that occasional silences once in a while, for I could take a sip of my Sarsi drink and savour the nice 'kueh' while preparing for the next round of Q's and A's, ahaks .All in all, I think her parents is generally approving my relationship with their daughter, despite the fact that they still be a little cautious and worried at the possible outcome of this relationship, which is very much understandable. I think the objectives of the meet had been achieved, where I had been able to introduce myself, shown my character to them, shown them how serious I am with their daughter, and how far I wish to go with this relationship. I always believe that it is very important to meet the parents and introduce yourself when U are thinking of building a long and lasting relationship with a girl, because they deserve the right to know who is the person whom their daughter is crazy about. They have every right to know Your intentions and Your character, because they has to be convinced their daughter's heart would not be hurt by the stranger, U... I don't know whether I had look different or appears differently nowadays (I look all the same in the mirror ), simply because I am in Love, , but some of my friends does said I look more cheerful and more radiant. I think it is the emotional effects, maybe when U are happy, somehow, U smile more, U always think positive, U look more confident dealing with your surrounding... or maybe it is twofold, the emotional effects also has triggered the body to release certain hormones (I am not quite sure what hormone it is, but there should be something, right?! like endorphin which makes U feel more energized every time you finish your workout in gym) which in turn make U looks younger and more radiant?! Whatever it is, I like it, at least now I started to become the center of attention, somehow..., ahahahaha. And at the same time, it is always good to bring a cheerful atmosphere to the office, at least I had been able to lighten up my fellow colleagues who had been so, so much stressful than I am this past few weeks... Wow, man, it feels really good to be in Love...Diman, U asked for it, there it is, 'aura jiwang' all around, ahahahaha... MatJan, for me personally, the three dots (...) is meant to asked the readers to pause their reading for a short while and think about the points being presented, there's really has nothing to do with promoting the triangular infamous three-dots. I'll update my list of meet/un-meet bloggers soon, for the meantime, just bear with me, people... Bye, friends. Have a Pleasant Week Ahead. nesloice walks through at 9:31 AM. |
