Wednesday, January 19, 2005 What a boring week... Assalamualaikum, my fellow readers...
It's been a week since my last entry, and I think I should update and input something in here, as to not disappoint my loyal visitors (ada ker?) and newcomers alike, although I must admit, the past one week since my last entry has not been as eventful as I wanted it to be, infacts, it bored me to the bone just to tell U guys how it has been...
The weekdays is pretty normal (read "boring"), going to the office, loafed around and surfed the net for practically nothing, and occasional visit to the gym in the evening. The weekend is even more suppressing... all my plans has just go haywire... first, my long lost friend, whom I had not meet in nine years, had to cancel our meet-up because something happened (in engineering terms, it is called "unforeseen circumstances"). Then late at night my team, Arsenal were beaten by the oh-so-lucky Bolton Wanderers, despite having almost 60% possession of the ball (I knew a lot of MU supporters out there are having a big wide smile in their sleep that night, but my advice to you guys, enjoy it while U can, because there is no way the Gunners are handing the second spot to MU, not in this Wenger era, at least... ). On Sunday, the BBQ picnic in Lata Kinchang, Templers Park.. Ok, this one is not boring, it just started about two hours later than schedule, so a lot of waiting there... Thank god there is something to cheer that night when Spider won Juara Lagu, and Dayang winning best song in Etnik Kreatif category...
But being boring has got it advantages. I managed to read quite a few interesting blog entry of fellow bloggers, and had thoroughly enjoyed the reading. There are many good, knowledgeable people out there who had a lot to share and had managed to find sometime to actually type out what they have in mind for people like me to dwelve and savour. Really hooked on their writing, so I had included them in my ever-growing list of My Frequent (on the left side panel). To all my visitors, do check them out. My favourite so far, the Relationship Dilemma part I and II by DonJuanDeApai. So, kudos to you tok Apai, really interesting point-of-view there. Maybe I should really think of joining Geng Jurnal, since then, I will have an opportunity to meet up with all these people in-person. We will be celebrating Eid-Ul-Adha in two days, and I am driving back to Kuantan tonite. So have a wonderful celebration everyone, just remember to spent a little time to rethink, how much sacrifices has U put through for the sake of our belief, Islam ... has it been enough to get us by, when the time has come for us to answer the big question on the Judgement Day, in front of Allah the Almighty, ...
"ilmu mu, utk apakah kau manfaatkan?! harta mu, utk apakah kau belanjakan?!" It is still not too late for all of us to repent on all our wrongdoings, the signs are all there, the end of this world is near my friend, better late than sorry, as the say goes... Have a pleasant holidays...
